Just another casual look for the cold spring days

I was so happy and exited for spring and then it started raining UGH :( so I decided to keep it up with the weather in grey and casual. I can't express how much I want to start wearing my high heels and dresses without the three pairs of tights and I have so so many outfit ideas if it would just get warmer already. By the way the charm thingy on the necklace I wore is my grandma's and it's older than my mom, pretty isn't it.

Some more school stuff

Last weekend my colleagues and I went to The National Historical Museum for a field trip/project type of thing and we just could not resist taking pics with this funny helicopter. For those of you wondering what I was wearing let me break it down: black over the knee boots; dark red high wasted shorts; black and beige stripped sweater from STRADIVARIUS; faux fur vest and black leather bag.

Get you spring on: PASTEL

If there is something that I would like you to remember from me is KEEP YOU CLOTHES. By that I mean take very good care of your stuff and don't get rid of things just because it doesn't fit you anymore or is on trend. For example this sweater I am wearing, my mom made it probably about seven years ago and I just found it last week and it perfectly goes with the pastel trend for this spring and summer. And it's not just that but I have gotten so many clothing pieces and jewelry from my mom and grandma for the past year or two that I have saved myself a lot of money. So bottom line KEEP YOUR CLOTHES and your kids will be very grateful someday LOL

School stuff

I don't know if I have mentioned what I study and what kind of classes I have but anyway I am gonna talk about it now.
I am in my second year, for now I study Plastic Arts and next year I am going to major in Stage Design. I have some drawing classes also Wall Art, Composition in Visual Arts and I have a class where we study and practice on the Adobe Photoshop. Cool right :) But still I have to say my favorite class is Set and Costume Design simply because I have a great teacher who took as to a master class on Film Directing where students are working on individual projects and have to make a short film. In order for them to make these films the choose a short story and turn it into a script. Step 2 is finding a crew and this is where me and my colleagues come in - we do the sets, costumes and some additional thing like hair and makeup. I am currently working on not one but two films and I am very busy with test shoots and location searching. I can't wait for the actual shooting of the films to begin and to show you the finished projects if I can. The other day actually I was with the director of one of the films and the lead actress at the apartment where most of the action takes place and I did the hair and makeup and we tried some of my ideas for the costumes and let me tell you it as awesome. And the amazing photographer that I am I tried to take some pictures of the living room just so that I can recall easier how everything was organized and I kind of managed to photograph myself and my outfit LOL so here it is:

If you can't tell I am wearing a nude knitted dress and black cardigan from MANGO and my ZARA grey over the knee boots.
I promise I will show some more pics of the process of making of a short film very soon.

Mixin' it up

There are so many pieces it this outfit that it took me so long to take off. First we start with a plain white v-neck tee and black tights. Then we add a pencil high waste short skirt and a black cardigan to keep warm and of course lets not forget the green parka, which has turned to be my new favorite outerwear. When you think you should be ready, put on black ankle booties (in this case I chose these rocker kind of looking ones that I bought recently for the incredible 3$ or about 2.5 EUR) and a flower scarf and you have your outfit all together in almost no time LOL.

H&M Store Opening Bulgaria

I can not begin to explain to you how excited I am that finally H&M opened their first store in Sofia. That has been my favorite brand for a couple of years now and I am glad to say that I have clothes from four different countries: Germany, Italy, England and Bulgaria.
The opening was on Saturday, March 10th but unfortunately due to my recent lack of availability I couldn't go so I went yesterday and let me tell you there was a line in front of the store and inside was total craziness - people everywhere.
Despite all that I loved the way the store was organized and the clothes were simply amazing. I managed to get only 3 things without trying on but I have my eye on 4-5 pieces and I am definitely going again very very soon, this time I want to go when I am not in a hurry for anywhere and I can really go through everything.

P.S.
A sneak peak of what I got this time and I promise I will do a proper haul as soon as I go again and get some more things.

Military accent

Even though it has been so sunny and warm for the last couple of days as supposed to the freezing temperatures of last month I can't seem to start wearing bright colors and flower patterns just like that. And not to forget to mention that a bad hair day is not an excuse to leave your hair just be. LOL. I am kidding I just wanted to throw in there how proud I am with my hair styling abilities - I did that fabulous braid you see in the pics this morning on my way to the university IN THE CAB. Nice right?

Get your spring on: NEON

One of my favorite trends for this spring and summer and actually the one I'm most looking forward to wear is NEON. Having said that I am going to let you in on a little secret of how to follow a particular color trend:
#1 Nail polish - easily the most inexpensive and simple way to be trendy.
#2 Accessories - a set of earrings, a pair of heels, a scarf or a bag. Add a pop of neon color to your outfit for an effortless chic look.
#3 Actual clothing piece - find a pretty and flattering dress, skirt, top, blouse or whatever as long as you like the way it looks on you and pair it with light colors for a girly look or darks for a more rocker tough look.

PS
Last week I found the prettiest orange neon chiffon fabric and I can't wait to turn it into a skirt so I'll keep you posted.
